Things aren’t always black and white—especially when it comes to relationships. When Dean, a young professional, and Danya, an aspiring singer, go on a refreshingly candid first date, they keep it real about the dynamics of a potential interracial relationship. As they grow comfortable nestled in the cocoon of their budding love, the real world brings a whirlwind of inflammatory race relations, opinionated family and friends, and troublesome pasts. Can love truly be colorblind? This commissioned world premiere inspired by the classic Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner shines a light on what happens when cultures clash in the name of love.

The Last Will and Testament of Madison Giles is a messy, funny, and emotional story about what happens after someone dies, leaving behind more questions than answers. When Madison dies, her friends, exes, and family are pulled together to go through her final wishes—except nothing goes the way they expect. Through letters, secrets, and awkward confessions, everyone has to face who Madison really was, and who they were to her. Madison’s voice, though absent in life, is loud in death—pulling the characters (and the audience) into a story about grief, love, queerness, complicated friendships, and the weird, beautiful chaos of trying to move on when someone still has a hold on you—even from the grave.
